In front of Farmers Hall VFFC has five raised garden beds that are ADA accessible, five beds maintained by community volunteers and a Bocce Court for local organizations to utilize for hands-on education and serving families in need.
Every year we have garden space available to community organizations and members who wish to take on a garden bed!
Post COVID, our beds got a makeover with a community volunteer working hard to make the beds better than ever - this year we have new wood on five of the beds that are available for the community.
If you are interested in claiming a garden bed for yourself or for your organization or client please contact Emma Hileman, Program Director at [email protected]. Even if you do not have materials we have some available for the community including seeds, plant starts, gloves and garden tools to get you started!
