The Greenhouse was built in 2017 with a generous contribution from the Rutland Rotary Club.
Designed with the Rutland community in mind, the intent of the GreenHouse is to showcase different possibilities in food production. There are 14 raised beds, a classroom space, and state-of-the-art systems in place to provide educational programs for community members of all ages. Programs encompass a wide range of topics including food production, sustainability, environmental science and hands-on farm and garden workshops.
During the 2020 growing season the Greenhouse was utilized to grow food for various projects to help feed the Rutland community during these unprecedented times. Our Farmacy program also utilized some of the food produced.
